School Admissions Policy
Every year many people approach us to sign a supplementary form to support school applications.
The supplementary form asks us to confirm that you or your child has worshipped at St James regularly. Our definition of regular worship is defined as attending 75% of our services over the preceding year, as stated below.
Only if these conditions are met, will the Vicar be able to sign the supplementary form.

Understanding of Regular Worship
Everyone is welcome to join us in Worship at St James the Great Church.
We have two weekly Sunday Services:
9.00 am Eucharist Service
and
10.30 am Connect (Contemporary Worship)
We also have other Services for Holy Days and Saint Days as announced in our Weekly Pew News.
Attending at least 75% of our Services in the preceding year is considered to mean “Regular Worship”.
In the context of School Application Forms this means both the child and parents/parent attending for this period.
